Audio is an
integrated part of our services. We can handle all stages of audio production
and post-productions; from concept to finished mix.
Klipp og
Lim has created music and sound design for a variety of moving image genres;
fiction, documentary, animation and commercials, as well as audio for
interactive presentations, websites, experimental installations and sound
branding.
Even though
Klipp og Lim benefits from a network of musicians, composers and sound
engineers, our main collaborator is former Klipp og Lim employee, Sander Stedenfeldt
Olsen. He is now running his own company, SyncPoint, and we have secured his
services as subcontractor for audio and audiovisual productions.
The long time working together, as colleague and subcontractor, we have established a common ground of understanding and workflow that secures that the audio dimension is brought in at an early stage and becomes an integrated part of our solutions.

- ORIGINAL MUSIC
We tailor music to every purpose and take care of all phases of the production, from concept to finished mix This includes idea, scoring, arranging, instrumentation, recording and mixing. Among our partners you will find everything from ensembles to experimental electronica artists. We work with a number of composers, producers, sound engineers and studio musicians who cover a wide range of musical expressions, which means we can navigate with great confidence within any musical universe.
When preferred, we work in close cooperation with the client and usually from the very beginning of the process. This is to get a clear view of the client's needs and thus have all prerequisites to create the perfect piece of music. We also pay close attention to the post production of whatever audio we produce — processing audio recordings in the right way can really make a difference between an average and a professional result. We can take care of the whole mixing process and deliver the finished product in either mono, stereo or
5.1 surround.
- SOUND DESIGN
We do sound design for a large variety of media. The right sound design can elevate your production to a new level. The meticulously and reflected employment of audible elements can reinforce the viewing experience. Sound has the ability to address the conscious mind and, as the case most often would be, luring its way through the deeper levels of the consciousness and make its emotional impact. Sound design can enhance a story, take us to different environments, tell us what’s outside the frame, control the viewer’s attention or provide information in abstract and figurative terms.
Sound design for installations: Only your imagination limits what form an installation will take. By creative use of sound we can help you make your creation come to life.
Sound design for film: Short movies, features, animation, documentaries, fiction or commercial spots - We place great emphasis on creating exactly the non visual universe your image deserves and we take care of the entire process from concept, recording, processing to the finished mix.
Sound design for games: Images generated by a computer have for obvious reasons no recorded sound. The right sound design will bring life to the environments, events and movements and take the gaming experience to a new level. We’re able to work with everything from sound effects to soundscapes in order to help you shape a comprehensive and credible audio universe.
- INTERACTIVE
It's difficult to tell how many different areas of use there are regarding interactive audio. Perhaps an infinite number of uses — we are however very confident that the use of interactive audio will provide new life, depth and a richer experience for the medium in question. The content of an interactive sound solution can be anything from music to sound effects. Only your imaginations restricts how an interactive sound solution should behave.
Different sounds can for example be triggered by several differnt sensors. Touch, motion, the number of objects in a room, light, heat, wind and weather are just some of the things that can determine how the interactive sound is to be shaped. Examples of use can be installations, exhibitions, dynamic websites and games.
